Summary

Optimal, on behalf of its Client, a Leading Automotive company, is looking for a digitally fluent, creative Social Media Manager based in Athens.


As a Social Media Manager,you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, managing daily communications across platforms, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic content calendar across all social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok), ensuring timely and engaging content aligned with our brand values.
  • Work closely with the Brand Managers to maintain a consistent tone of voice, messaging, and visual identity across all social media channels.
  • Edit and tailor creative assets (copy, images, videos) for each platform’s unique specifications and audience preferences, ensuring all content is high-quality and on-brand.
  • Act as the key point of contact for creative and performance marketing agencies. Provide detailed briefs, manage project timelines, and oversee the timely delivery of campaign assets.
  • Contribute to larger marketing initiatives by preparing campaign briefs, assisting with copywriting, and ensuring cross-functional alignment on messaging and scheduling.
  • Support the planning and execution of promotional events, product launches, and branded activations—both online and offline.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in marketing, communications, or digital media—ideally within the automotive, retail, or consumer goods sectors.
  • Solid understanding of social media trends, analytics, and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Τικ Τοκ etc.
  • Basic design/editing skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Fluency in both Greek and English, with excellent verbal and written communication in both languages.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive
