Job Summary

As the manager of our new site in Cikarang, Bekasi, you will promote a culture of operational excellence focused on productivity, quality, delivery, and health and safety. You will manage operations at the site, supervise incoming deliveries, and oversee deliveries to our end customers. The Site Manager reports to the Managing Director.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management of manufacturing, machinery, inventory, and delivery
• Responsible for managing plant costs within company budgets
• Establish plant policies and procedures in dialogue with Corporate
• Direct and coordinate material management, production operations, and process improvement on a day-to-day basis
• Manage systems and procedures for operational cost and usage controls
• Work closely with sales and customers
• Establish process costing
• Assist engineering with new product development
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs
• Perform special tasks for Corporate as required
• Manage physical inventory of materials and components, as well as the best utilization of materials
• Conduct counting and reporting
• Drive continuous improvement efforts at our existing facilities
• Map current flows and continuously evaluate and implement flow improvements with the Production Manager
• Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers, as well as evaluate their findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
• Identify training needs within the organization
• Continuously improve the company’s costing and pricing systems.
• Communicate and target company goals and objectives, as defined from time to time

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, logistics, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in a process-oriented operations and/or related industry
• Experience with materials and products related to packaging is a strong plus
