Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer with a strong background in developing scalable web applications. The ideal candidate must have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in REST APIs, Shopify (REST & GraphQL), and CodeIgniter framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable REST APIs

Work with Shopify REST and GraphQL APIs to build custom features, apps, and integrations

Develop and maintain backend applications using the CodeIgniter PHP framework

Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements

Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security

Troubleshoot and debug application issues in a timely manner

Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development

Required Skills & Experience:

REST API Development: Minimum 4 years

Shopify (REST & GraphQL APIs): Minimum 4 years

PHP (CodeIgniter Framework): Minimum 4 years

Strong understanding of MVC architecture

Proficient in MySQL and database schema design

Familiarity with version control tools like Git

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other PHP frameworks or eCommerce platforms

Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
