Shambaugh & Son L.P., a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., is a customer-driven, single-source, self-performing construction/engineering firm. We specialize in the Design-Build method of construction resulting in fast-track delivery of the project improvements to our customers. We are one of the largest specialty contractors in the U.S. and the only one with all eight M.E.P (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Automation, Refrigeration, HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) design and installation capabilities in-house. Job Title
Fire Fab Shift Supervisor
Job Summary
Manage a shift of approximately 35 employees ensuring production and quality requirements are met while maintaining the safest working environment possible.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for all employee on their shift
Make sure safety is the first priority
Knowledgeable of daily production and share information with employees
Ensure all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed
Answer to shop manager
Conduct pre-shift safety and informational meetings every day
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
3-5 years of supervisory experience
Production or manufacturing experience preferred
Strong verbal communication skills required
Ability to motivate various individuals to complete the required tasks
Experience training employees who have different learning methods
