Be part of our newly established IT Department at Infineon Technologies' Budapest office, a key hub for our global competence center in IT infrastructure, integration, and security. as a SharePoint Administrator and play a key role in delivering high-quality collaboration solutions. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our SharePoint platform.
We are seeking a SharePoint Administrator to join our IT Department in Budapest. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our SharePoint platform, working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our business needs.
In your new role you will:
- Work in the team that operates the Infineon on-premises SharePoint platform, which is the basis for a multitude of collaboration solutions.
- Install, configure, and operate on-premises SharePoint farms in collaboration with other IT infrastructure teams.
- Align requirements with internal customers and plan/schedule the implementation/changes together with the team.
- Perform periodic maintenance to ensure the secure and stable operation of the SharePoint platform.
- Based on know-how, contribute to the automation of routine tasks related to the installation and operation of the SharePoint platform.
- Provide third-level support for the SharePoint platform.
- Provide on-call support for the SharePoint platform.
You are a team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a critical thinking approach. You are open to learning new technologies and have a strong desire to deliver high-quality results. You have excellent communication skills and are able to work effectively in a team environment. You are proactive, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. You are a strong analytical thinker with a focus on finding solutions and driving results.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or any equivalent course.
- Knowledge of Windows server administration and web hosting technologies, such as Internet Information Service (IIS).
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Active Directory (AD).
- Basic skills in PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Know-how of SharePoint, either as an end-user or administrator is an added advantage.
- Understanding of web technologies like HTTP(S), HTML + JavaScript is preferred.
- Know-how in database technologies and working with relational databases and SQL.
- Fluent English language knowledge
