Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow PPM Developer to design, configure, and optimize Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow development, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for improving project and portfolio management processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to implement automation, integrations, and workflows that enhance organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• ServiceNow PPM Development: Configure and customize the PPM module to align with business needs, including Portfolio, Program, Demand, Resource, and Project Management.
• Workflows & Automation: Develop and modify workflows, business rules, UI policies, and notifications to streamline project management operations.
• Integrations: Design and implement REST/SOAP API-based integrations with third-party applications like ERP systems, reporting tools, and ITSM processes.
• Resource & Demand Management: Ensure optimized utilization of resources, forecasting project demands, and tracking dependencies.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Build real-time analytics dashboards using ServiceNow Performance Analytics for better visibility into project health and KPIs.
• System Maintenance & Upgrades: Perform regular platform updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth functionality of PPM modules.
• Collaboration with Business & Technical Teams: Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and IT teams to gather requirements, document solutions, and implement changes effectively.
• Adherence to Best Practices: Follow ServiceNow development standards, best practices, and ensure security compliance in configurations and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 - 10 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with hands-on expertise in the PPM module.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX for UI customizations.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow APIs, including REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Scripted REST APIs, Business Rules, UI Actions, and ACL configurations.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles, Agile project methodologies, and industry-standard PPM frameworks.
• Ability to configure ServiceNow Performance Analytics, reports, and dashboards for tracking KPIs.
• ServiceNow PPM Certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Exposure to ServiceNow ITBM (IT Business Management) capabilities beyond PPM.
• Knowledge of CMDB and ITSM workflows to integrate PPM with broader ServiceNow capabilities.
• Experience in ServiceNow Discovery & Automation for project forecasting and risk analysis.
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL queries for better reporting capabilities.
