Summary

Job Title: Technical Support Associate (1st Line)

Job Overview: We are looking for dynamic and motivated individuals to join our team as a Technical Support Associate. This position requires excellent communication skills in English and a basic understanding of networking concepts. You will be providing 1st line technical support to our customers, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st line technical support to customers, addressing inquiries and issues promptly.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to hardware (computers, printers) and software applications.
  • Troubleshoot common technical issues, such as resetting passwords, resolving connectivity problems, and system errors.
  • Provide solutions to basic technical issues in a timely manner using available resources.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
  • Support network devices, including Cisco routers, switches, LAN, WAN, and MAN connections.
  • Manage client servers and systems such as Windows Server, UNIX, and Mainframe environments.
  • Provide support for platforms like SharePoint and Active Directory.
  • Perform troubleshooting tasks for both Windows and Linux-based client systems.
  • Ensure proper resolution of issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Technical Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with server administration, backup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Basic understanding of networking, including routers, switches, and LAN/WAN technologies.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX) and server environments.
  • Basic knowledge of client-server architecture and related software applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Work Details

  • Position: Technical Support Associate (1st Line)
  • Total Positions: 40
  • Work Mode: Work from Office
  • Shift Timing: 24x7 Support (Night Shifts included)
  • Transport Facility: Cab facility provided within a 20 km radius from the job location.
  • Immediate Joiner: Only candidates who are immediately available for joining will be considered (Fresher or not currently employed).

Interview Process

  • First Communication Screening: Assessment of communication skills.
  • Training & Interview: Upon successful screening, candidates will undergo a training process, followed by further evaluation based on performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Willingness to work in rotational night shifts and adapt to flexible working hours.
