Responsible for administering the basic day-to-day food and beverage service duties such as opening and closing of stores, answering call for queries, taking food and beverage orders, preparing meals and delivering orders to customers.
Greeting and Welcoming guest
Welcoming guests as they arrive at the restaurant in a friendly manner
Escorting them to their tables and providing menus.
Taking Orders
Assisting guests with menu recommendations and taking their orders accurately.
Memorizing specials and menu items to describe them to customers.
Clearing Tables and Replenishing Supplies
Maintaning table settings in order to ensure correct table set up
Clearing tables of empty dishes and utensils.
Refilling water glasses, condiments, and other supplies as needed.
Cleanliness in dining area including the floor and wall surfaces.
Processing Payments
Presenting bills and processing payments accurately.
Handling cash, credit cards, and electronic payments securely.
Upselling
Increase possible sales volume and avoid losses through cross-selling, upselling and promotion of additional services
Customer Service
Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer concerns professionally.
Anticipating guests' needs and exceeding their expectations.
Knowledge and Training
Staying informed about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities provided by the restaurant.
