The QA Automation Tester is responsible for designing, developing, executing and maintaining automated test cases to ensure the quality of software applications that are principally in-house developed.

This role will also be responsible for analysing and reporting on test results, identifying and documenting software defects, and working closely with QAs, developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that our applications meet business requirements and expectations.

The overall purpose of the QA Automation Tester role is to ensure that developed products, applications, modules and systems work effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Playwright or Selenium.
2. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across platforms.
3. Identify and document software defects, collaborating with developers and stakeholders.
4. Prepare QA documentation, including test reports and summaries.
5. Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and continuously improve testing processes.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Proficiency in tools like Selenium or Playwright.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
