About this Role
Reporting to the Head of Global Project Management/Regional Delivery Leader for Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the Senior Technical Project Manager for Saudi Arabia will be responsible for managing a portfolio of programs for key customers in Saudi Arabia, with responsibility to deliver expected project outcomes and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
This Technical Project Manager (TPM) will work closely with project team members and other internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. The TPM is ultimately responsible for the leadership, financial management, quality, and timely delivery of the project for our customers.
Overall Responsibilities
- Responsibility for establishing effective working relationships with stakeholders at key customers based in Saudi Arabia, with the role being based in Riyadh.
- Program Management, Governance, and Reporting across the portfolio of projects in Saudi Arabia.
- Customer Stakeholder Management – Operational Communications, Scope Management, Engagement Governance, and Handling of Escalations.
- Communication and Collaboration across multiple Mobileum Business Units and functions: Product Management, Engineering, Delivery, Managed Services, and Support.
- Working with and oversight of Project Managers assigned to manage and deliver individual projects.
Operational Responsibilities
- Provide overall project leadership and direct project teams in the delivery of high-quality products within committed timeframes and budgets.
- Closely work with the Technical Delivery Manager and the Technical Delivery teams for project execution activities.
- Management of Technical Issue Escalations with Delivery, Engineering, and, where necessary, Support and Managed Services.
- Risk management to identify potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate or address them. This involves conducting risk assessments, analyzing their potential impact on project objectives, and proactively implementing risk mitigation plans.

- Demonstrated operations management capabilities, leading multifaceted activities across offerings and contracts.

Operational Capabilities:
- Expert Project Management skills including: estimating, scope management, budget management, time management, risk management, change management, issue/conflict resolution, communication management, quality management, testing plans, training plans, team management.
- Skills and knowledge acquired through participation in the delivery of: change management, release management, configuration management, systems integration, systems development life cycle methodologies, quality assurance and testing, requirements gathering, and systems analysis and design.
- Working Knowledge and Experience of Mobile Network Technology, Roaming, and Network Analytics – including GSM/CAMEL/SMPP/Diameter/4G/5G Protocol knowledge.
- Experience with BareMetal, Virtual, and Containerized-based deployments.
Educational Qualification:
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering is essential.
- An MBA is preferred.
- Communication skills - Candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills and fluent English and Arabic language skills.
- Working experience in Saudi Arabia is ideal.
