About the project:

• The Senior Tableau Developer will amend the existing team to grow the "Business Insights" capability within the Pharma Portfolio Planning space due to the needs of ongoing R&D Excellence and PDLT Priority work

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain dashboards in Tableau
• Collaborate with business and IT teams in Agile environment
• Translate business needs into BI solutions
• Ensure usability and performance of dashboards
• Estimate tasks and define testing strategies
• Communicate BI solution options with stakeholders
• Align with architecture and infrastructure requirements

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Tableau or Business Objects XI (Web Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Designer, Information Design Tool, Xcelsius, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and principles
• Excellent knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse modeling
• Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake and experience working with ETL tools
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• 2+ years of experience in BI design and usability
• Experience designing and prototyping BI solutions based on business needs
• Knowledge of BI testing strategies and ability to apply them effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with additional BI tools such as Tibco Spotfire, SSRS, or SAP BO
• Familiarity with Snowflake and/or ThoughtSpot
• Ability to provide architectural rationale and defend design decisions to technical boards
• Understanding of BI-related infrastructure and environment setup
• Ability to assess and discuss trade-offs between standard and custom BI solutions
• Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
