The Android & Apple Player team is made up of 5 Android engineers, 5 iOS Engineers, 2 SDETs and 3 QAs. We have an Engineering Manager based in Poland. We introduce new features related to the ExoPlayer and AV Player to our apps, we also maintain and extend the existing functionalities so that they are stable, resilient, and handy to our users. We put DAZN’s quality as one of our primary objectives. Anything we do is monitored and measured in terms of final user impact and experience.

AS OUR NEW ANDROID ENGINEER YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

• Implement new features with unit and automated tests & support existing features.

YOU’LL HAVE:

• Experience in working with ExoPlayer or Media 3 library.
• Experience in implementing Android application in Kotlin.
• Experience in RxJava or alternative multithreading libraries.
• Experience with writing unit (JUnit) tests.
• Stay up to date with the Android SDK changes and trends.
• Ability to propose, own, drive and implement initiatives from ideation until delivery and monitoring.
• Knowledge of monitoring, remote config and experimentation tools.
