We are searching for a talented Senior Software Developer, with a strong focus in Ruby on Rails, to join a leading crypto/blockchain firm based in Hong Kong.

As a Senior Software Developer you will design, develop, maintain, and improve software for various ventures projects. You will be actively involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Develop backend services and operations, propose architectural decisions, and participate in design reviews.
• Create retail trading products and expand our offerings to new regions.
• Identify and implement solutions for complex issues within large-scale backend infrastructure.
• Provide reliable trading information streams and technical support to our customers.
• Collaborate with the DevOps and Infra team to enhance our technology stack.
• Manage documentation for all implemented code and functionalities.

What We’re Looking For:

• A self-motivated individual with a “get things done” mentality who is eager to solve real-world problems.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle conflicting requirements from various stakeholders.
• Experience in Ruby, with knowledge of Postgres, Redis, and Kafka preferred.
• An understanding of financial domain knowledge or blockchain technology is a plus.
