The Job

The Sitecore Developer will join an experienced team and be tasked with guiding the team to deliver to its full potential. The KPIs for the role will be as follows:

·      Project Delivery – C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS development & delivery for Sitecore projects

·      Staff Accreditation – training and certification for Sitecore

·      Client Satisfaction – C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS development productivity and quality

·      Sales Support – Sitecore project scoping and estimates

·      Research – new technology investigation & prototype creation

As a Senior Sitecore Developer, you will:

·       Develop web applications and components on Sitecore

·       Participate in all phases of the development life cycle

·       Write well-structured, efficient, clean and testable source code

·       Assists in technical scoping and estimates during the pitch process

·       Keeps project manager well informed of status of development effort.

·       Resolve and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion

·       Mentor the team members and provide solutions/guidelines for the technical issues.

·       Train and certify as a Sitecore developer

Your Skills and Experience

Must have:

·       6+ years’ experience working in Sitecore Development with understanding of the entire web development process with web technology.

·       Expert in .NET coding and clear understanding of technical details of .NET framework. Should have worked hands-on in project and implementation using .NET Framework, .NET, C#, MVC, API, SQL and no SQL databases.

·       Experience with OOP, design patterns, Sitecore development best practices.

·       Should be familiar with Agile and SDLC delivery methodology.

·       Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/TFS, Bitbucket.

·       Proficient in JavaScript (Vanilla and any libraries/frameworks such as React or Vue), CSS & preprocessors.

·       Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including ability to address issues in collaboration with others as appropriate.

·       Experience leading development projects including the ability to coordinate through the full project life cycle

·       Knowledge of SEO principles

·       English communication skills (both verbal & written), especially in the global software development environment.
