Summary
We are a well-funded biotech startup that has developed a proprietary single cell platform that resolves a bottleneck for immunotherapy. We are seeking a Senior Research Associate or Associate Scientist to join our interdisciplinary team. In this role, you will support routine sequencing operations and contribute to the development of in-house IHC protocols. Responsibilities
Conduct a range of next generation sequencing protocols, including WES, RNAseq, and scTCRseq.
Coordinate patient sample collection and process patient tissue and blood specimens.
Contribute to the development and optimization of in-house immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining and analysis protocols.
Collaborate cross-functionally with immunologists and computational scientists to advance discovery efforts and support patient sample characterization.
Skills And Qualifications
Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a related field, with 3+ years of industry experience.
Strong hands-on experience in processing human tissue and isolating DNA/RNA from diverse sample types
Proficiency in NGS library preparation and sequencing workflows, from design through execution.
Experience in IHC staining and gene-expression analysis.
Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, take initiative, and drive projects forward independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Compensation
Compensation and Benefits:
$90,000- $120,000 (depending on the depth of expertise) + 10% performance bonus + equity.
