We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to add to our dynamic QA team, this role is pivotable in ensuring quality within our suite of dynamic complex software applications. You'll be leading by example, collaborating closely with developers, and pushing automation-first approaches. This role is ideal for someone assertive, analytical, and delivery-focused—someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, holds high standards, and knows how to build robust testing infrastructure while being pragmatic and results-driven.

Roles and responsibilities.

• Design, develop, implement and maintain robust, scalable end-to-end test automation frameworks, including functional, load, performance testing
• Build and own test strategies that cover critical user journeys, aligned with business goals and product vision
• Actively work with development and infrastructure teams for integrated test automation as an integral part of the CI/CD delivery pipeline
• Lead complex technical projects (including assessment of testing scope, planning and monitoring of testing progress, preparation of testing documentation)
• Pro-actively seek to make continuous improvements to test coverage, execution, and automation
• Integrate API testing into end-to-end scenarios to verify complex system interactions
• Daily execution, reporting, troubleshooting and analysis of automated tests
• Create bug reports according to automated test execution results, track fixes for these defects and validate
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment as well as working independently and delivery project deliverables on time
• Contributing to the overall testing strategy and approach
• Detail oriented with an innate ability to detect bugs, issues, and code quality
• Reporting and documenting technical issues

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior within a Software QA automation engineering role
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Critical thinker
• Ability to manage projects

• Strong understanding of bug tracking and task management software
• Strong experience writing automation test in Java, Python, JavaScript, and Ruby
• Familiarity with test design patterns, BDD/TDD practices, and debugging tools
• Solid grasp of how system components interact and how to test across different integration layers.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues
• Experience in building test automation from scratch or maintaining large-scale frameworks.

• Familiarity with asynchronous programming and experience working with testing and assertion libraries
• Solid grasp of how system components interact and how to test across different integration layers
• Strong understanding of REST-based web services
• QA automation experience in mobile automated testing with Appium, and Device Farms.
• Experience with Rest Assured for API testing
• Good understanding of REST-based web services
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Experienced with Agile development and Jira/GitHub
