Position Overview

As a Mid QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and reliability.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Execute comprehensive test strategies including manual functional, behavioral, and user experience testing
• Perform cross-platform testing across various devices, operating systems, and browsers
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard frameworks
• Conduct performance, security, regression, and smoke testing
• Ensure consistent user experience across multiple platforms and devices
• Leverage tools such as Postman, JMeter, and browser DevTools for API testing, performance benchmarking, and debugging

Automation & Technical Implementation

• Create and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as:
• Playwright
• Cucumber for BDD implementation
• Jest and Vitest for unit testing implementation across frontend applications
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing using:
• GitHub Actions
• Manage version control using Git and collaborate with development teams

Project Management & Communication

• Create and maintain detailed test documentation and project health reports
• Track and document defects using JIRA or other tools
• Collaborate with Project Management and Development teams on schedules and deadlines
• Effectively triage and escalate issues based on severity and impact
• Communicate test results and project status to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years of QA experience
• Minimum 2 years of dedicated QA Automation experience
• Technical certifications are a plus

Technical Skills

• Proficient in at least one automation framework such as Playwright
• Experience with unit testing tools like Jest and Vitest
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools
• Expertise in test management tools (Zephyr, TestRail)
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, JMeter, and browser DevTools
• Strong Git version control knowledge

Platform Knowledge

• Extensive experience with:
• Windows and Linux operating systems
• Major web browsers
• Build processes for web and mobile applications
• iOS/MacOS

Soft Skills

• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
