Senior Project Manager - SharePoint Migration
About the Role - We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a SharePoint migration project. Initial duration of 6 months with 3 days on-site in Melbourne CBD and 2 days WFH.
We are looking to migrate legacy cloud MS SharePoint systems to the new SharePoint Online versions. Experience or knowledge with the SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) (from a PM perspective) to enable us to take advantage of the latest collaboration, intelligence, and security solutions in Microsoft 365.
You'll need to drive the Project to a successful conclusion using strong stakeholder engagement and Project reporting skills. You will definitely have a track record of delivering IT Projects on-time and within budget with a pragmatic delivery style.
Ideally you’ll have experience of decommissioning legacy versions of SharePoint Document Management solutions OR other IT systems with technical Application and infrastructure components.
This project will enhance to the existing Document Management System / Document collaboration space – a SharePoint environment. These enhancements include the migration and decommissioning of the legacy spaces (on separate legacy SharePoint environments), and removal of customisation plugins to enable an easier migration to SharePoint Online.

Qualifications
Highly likely to have Project Management Certifications such as Prince2, PMI (PMBoK) or similar with at least 8 years of Project Management experience.
Required Skills
We’re looking for experienced Project Manager who has Tech delivery experience as well as delivery experience in other areas-
The project is just completing the discovery phase, with the delivery phase targeted to start in late May / early June.
Preferred Skills
Multiple project exposure to SharePoint, SharePoint workflow, SPMT or other Document Management migration projects is highly desirable.
Other requirements
Candidates must be eligible to work in Australia and available to start a new role in late May with no more than a 2 week notice period (or available immediately). With 3 days on client site in Melbourne’s CBD we cannot accept applicants from interstate for this role.
