Your role:

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our high performing team in Melbourne. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and reporting on the assigned projects for Brennan, to control outcome, Customer Satisfaction, schedule and budget.

The role requires a strong understanding of Project Management principles and experience in projects such as Dynamics 365, Data & AI (Data migration, MS Fabric) and application development. The role will also require strong facilitation skills as you will be an escalation point for operational and client Project Services delivery issues, as you will be accountable for teams being enabled to work efficiently and collaboratively.

Key Responsbilities Include

  • Review hours logged against project budgeted hours.
  • Support for Consultants to ensure that the Brennan Project Framework is followed and that all processes, procedures and documentation is completed.
  • Engage with Sales & Consultants to complete internal and external planning for project delivery, i.e bid reviews, project meetings and planning sessions, meetings cover such topics as actions, issues, risks, communications, stakeholder register.
  • Work with Consultants and customers to develop project schedules and ensure schedules are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure project teams receive appropriate project information such as scope of works, project budgets (estimate of hours of tasks), stakeholder contact information, meeting minutes etc.
  • Timely updating of project schedules, Actions, Risks, Issues register.
  • Ensure Change Management policy is adhered to.
  • Actively monitor project communications.
  • Weekly Status Updates - complete all relevant weekly information for the Project Status Updates in preparation for delivery to client on time
  • Ensure that the project tracking and reporting tools are kept up to date

To achieve success, this role requires the following Competencies and Experience:

  • Basic technical understanding of IT infrastructure and Managed Services..
  • Strong experience in projects such as Dynamics 365, Data & AI (Data migration, MS Fabric) and application development.
  • Minimum 5+ years Project Management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Ability to delegate effectively, direct and lead technical consultants.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to autonomously manage day-to-day client and project issues.
  • Ability to work in a billable hour target environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously across many teams, including Sales, and Support.
  • Strong decision making and conflict resolution skills - using diplomacy to diffuse tension and achieve outcomes efficiently.
  • Project Management Certifications (eg PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, etc).
  • Experience within an outsourced or IT Project Delivery environment.
