HKUST is dedicated to providing HKUST students with global learning opportunities and welcoming exchange students to the University. The HKUST Office of Global Learning coordinates a variety of programs, including regular term exchanges, summer and winter study abroad programs, and inbound programs. Here are some key highlights:
Inbound Programs: These programs are designed for international students coming to HKUST. They include regular term and summer term options, with comprehensive support for pre-arrival, arrival, and living in Hong Kong.
Outbound Programs: HKUST students can participate in study abroad programs during regular terms, summer, and winter terms. The department has approximately 240 exchange partners across 37 regions worldwide, making it accessible for most undergraduate students.
Funding Support: The department provides various funding options and scholarships to support students in their study abroad endeavors.
Resources and Support: The department offers extensive resources to help students prepare for their study abroad experience, including pre-departure briefings, travel insurance, and assistance while abroad
The Office’s goal is to complement students' degree studies with international experiences, fostering a global perspective and enhancing their academic and personal growth. It is now seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to champion our study abroad programs.
Dive into a role that involves program administration, funding support, event orchestration, collateral upkeep, liaison duties, and the facilitation of overseas learning adventures.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree holder
Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience
An individual with a knack for organization, a drive for success, and a flair for resourcefulness
A team player with exceptional interpersonal finesse
Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
Strong communication skills, adept at presentations
Strong computer proficiency, particularly in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Access
A genuine enthusiasm for engaging with individuals from a wide array of backgrounds
(Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
