Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • 3PL Management: Oversee and manage the performance of our third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure they meet the service level agreements and cost targets at goal level. Continuously assess and optimize 3PL operations for efficiency and effectiveness. serving as the critical liaison between operations, sales, customers, and our 3PL partners.

Oversees communications, reporting, and escalations to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. Conduct regular reviews with account stakeholders to maintain alignment on near-term requirements and solutions.

  • Transportation: Develop and implement strategies for domestic and international transportation to optimize delivery times, reduce costs, and improve reliability. Monitor industry trends and adapt transportation strategies accordingly.

Provide guidance and engage in communication within export/import domains, encompassing Sales, Logistics, Planning, Quality engineering, Customs, Brokers, and Freight Forwarders.

  • Logistics: Oversee all logistics operations, including import regulations for customs clearance and understanding on trade compliance and customs affairs, warehousing, distribution, and transportation. Implement best practices in logistics processes and technology to enhance visibility and control throughout the supply chain. Lead country SOP process and drive the maturity and establish formal reviews of the SLA monitoring / KPIs with the logistics providers.
  • Inventory Management: Develop and maintain effective inventory management to ensure accuracy and optimize inventory levels, minimizing overstock and outages. Work closely with procurement and sales departments to forecast demand and plan supply accordingly.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, procurement, and finance, to ensure the supply chain supports company goals and customer needs. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making as part of the senior management team.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers, carriers and evaluate customs agencies and 3PL providers to secure favorable terms, pricing and service scopes applied to the internal requirements. Ensure contracts are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting: To both local (regional) and global leaders, reporting progress during implementation and performance reporting when operational

About You:

To excel in this role, you should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of supply chain and warehouse (B2B) operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of professional Supply Chain Management experience, at least 3 of which have been in a trade and fulfillment/distribution leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successful account management within a B2B and DTC(B2C) environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including planning, procurement, fulfillment and local customs and compliance legislation and practical application.
  • Demonstrated capability in productivity, negotiation and networking.
  • Build strong relationships with external partners (suppliers, transportation, manufacturing, customers) and internal customers (sales, finance, planning, etc).
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • High integrity and honesty, open minded with positive thinking, proactive to drive changes and results
  • Good communication skills in English is a MUST.
  • Understanding of or experience in SAP or Oracle is a PLUS.
