Our client, a leader in the South African banking and investment space, seeks an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join their ranks.

Duties:

• To support the business units in the analysis, improvement and redesign of core and support business processes from current state assessments to post-implementation support in order to deliver an improvement in efficiency, high levels of standardization and straight-through processing with defined exception management.
• Improve the Business Process by designing and implementing the solution through:
• Finding new ways to improve the effectiveness and/or efficiency of the organisation
• Evaluating the implications of research findings
• Evaluating alternative methods
• Making a logical evaluation of new ideas and designs
• Designing logical flow-charts or diagrams
• Designing appropriate metrics and feedback mechanisms and appropriate implementation and sustaining plans and mechanisms
• Conduct BCA risk assessment
• Conduct Rapid Improvement Event
• This role also requires you to perform such tasks as:

Requirements:

• Minimum BCom Information Systems/Statistics/Mathematics, BEng Chem/Mech/Ind. or BSc Information Systems.
• At least 10 years working experience at a Process Practitioner level
• Experience working in financial services / payments/ working capital
• Lean Six Sigma Certification - a Black Belt would be advantageous.
• A SAFe certification would be ideal.
