💻 Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer

💰 Salary: £80-90k (+ 10% bonus)

📍 Location: Liverpool Street (2 office days/week)

A data intelligence platform specialising in Private Equity is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer.

Data is at the heart of the company and the product, so alongside Software Engineers, you and your team would work closely with Data Engineers too - in fact, this role reports into a Head of Data & Platform Engineering which highlights the synergy between these teams.

In this role, you'll provide technical guidance and mentorship to 2 less senior colleagues, but work as an individual contributor for the vast majority of your time to start off with - you'll have a clear progression path to a Tech Lead in 9-12 months so we're looking for someone who wants to go down the leadership route, whilst remaining close to technology.

✅ Must have requirements:

• Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE or self-hosted)
• Terraform
• Cloud - can be any background but need to be comfortable moving to Azure
• CI/CD - ideally Github Actions, but happy with other tools
• can do attitude and problem solving skills
• great communication and interpersonal skills
• aspiration to lead a (small) team

👍 Bonus points for experience with:

• previous leadership/mentorship experience
• previous experience working with Data Engineers
• understanding of Private Equity and/or financial accounting
• experience working with Identity Providers (e.g. Azure B2C, Okta)
• familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar databases
• familiarity with monitoring (e.g. Prometheus/Grafana)
