Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL code for database applications, procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.

Perform performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.

Conduct testing and debugging of PL/SQL code to identify and resolve defects and issues.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, data models, and process flow diagrams.

Provide support and troubleshooting for production database systems, including diagnosing and resolving database-related issues.

Collaborate with database administrators to ensure the integrity, security, and performance of the database systems.

Skills

Must have

10+ years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer

Excellent technical skills in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL and SQL tuning

Strong understanding of relational databases

Ability to design and develop complex application/components including packages, store procedures, functions, triggers

Proficiency in data modelling and database design

Data analysis skills

Shell Scripting

Analytical thinker experienced in a range of problem-solving techniques & approaches

Team player who shares and collaborates, a keen listener and quick learner

Communicates clearly and influences using coherent, fact and benefit-based proposals

Enables experimentation and fast learning approaches to creating business solutions

Understands key elements of security, risk & control
