Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java & Oracle APEX Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle APEX applications while also leveraging Java for backend development and integration. The role requires strong expertise in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, Java, and web technologies, along with experience integrating APEX applications with APIs and external data sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance Oracle APEX applications based on business needs.
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Implement Java-based backend services and integrations with Oracle APEX.
- Create and integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs within the APEX and Java environment.
- Design intuitive and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Optimize application performance and ensure data security within APEX applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper documentation of technical solutions and system architectures.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle APEX, Java, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Oracle APEX development.
- Strong expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c).
- 3+ years of experience in Java (Spring Boot preferred) development.
- Experience working with RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and AJAX.
- Experience with authentication and authorization in APEX (OAuth2, SSO, LDAP, etc.).
- Ability to design and implement secure, high-performance applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle APEX Certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines).
- Exposure to front-end frameworks like React or Angular

Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
