Job Description
NSDC (Network Service Delivery Center) – NI Business Unit is looking for Senior Integration Engineer. As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for IP Network Integration, Migration and Network Upgrades.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Senior Deployment Engineer plays a crucial role in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of network services for customers.
- Configure and deploy network equipment and services according to the design specifications.
- Install, test, and troubleshoot Nokia routers, switches, and other networking devices.
- Ensure proper integration with existing customer infrastructure.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers and other engineers.
- Conduct thorough testing of deployed services to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the network configuration.
- Perform acceptance testing with customers to validate the deployed solutions.
- Collaborate with the capacity planning team to anticipate future network needs and scalability requirements.
Key Skills And Experience
- Bachelor/ Master Degree in Engineering
- 10- 20 years of experience in the telecom industry, dealing with IP technologies.
- Hands-on experience including design, build, deployment, trouble-shooting & fault-finding, etc.
- Nokia SRA/Virtuoso, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE, or equivalent Certification are a plus.
- Excellent in designing and deploying networking equipment, SDN and NFV products & technologies
- Detailed understanding of IP/MPLS concepts, related technologies, and protocols
- Experienced in configuring and/or designing Network Management Systems in carrier networks
- Proficient in scripting in both networking and virtualized environments
- Strong data center networking knowledge
- Experience with carrier networking protocols (BGP/MPLS/etc), VPNs, QoS, Multicast, Security, etc.
- Experience deploying KVM, VMWare, OpenStack or CloudStack, OpenFlow
