Title: Sr Network Engineer (Big-IP / F5)

Location: Washington, DC region

Description:

The Senior Network Engineer functions as a Subject Matter Expert within the Consulting Services division of BlueAlly. The Senior Network Engineer must be able to lead small to mid-size initiatives, work independently, and develop an in-depth technical and business understanding of the working environment for Clients across numerous industries and/or verticals.

Responsibilities

• Applies broad technical expertise to address business challenges
• Leads a multi-disciplinary teams focused on a complex project
• Develops and delivers briefings and presentations for clients
• Produces relevant documentation
• Manages project budgets and schedules
• Develops and presents relevant reports
  
  
  

Position Requirements

• Subject Matter Expert level in BIG-IP / F5 technology
• Extensive experience in Cisco Data Center and Enterprise Routing and Switching
• Extensive experience in Cisco Wireless
  
  
  

Nice To Have Requirements

• Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
• Experience with Cisco DNA-Center
• Experience with Infoblox
• Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
  
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• CCNP or equivalent experience
  
  
  

Knowledge & Experience

• 12 years relevant experience
• Functions as a Subject Matter Expert
• Ability to act independently
• Leads small to mid-size initiatives
• In depth technical and business understanding of the working environment
• Expert knowledge of all aspects in one or more of the following:
• Network Engineering
• Security
• Data Center
• Network Design/Configuration
• Unified Communications and Collaboration
