Senior QA Engineer II designs automation plans and develops solutions for diverse platforms, adhering to standards while suggesting improvements. They collaborate with cross-functional teams, integrate automation scripts, and communicate effectively. With strong multitasking abilities, they prioritize and coordinate testing activities efficiently, displaying professionalism and problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Develop test automation solutions for applications across different platforms
* Adhere to existing standards; provide suggestion to improve and set new standards
* Collaborate with QA Engineers and Software Developers to identify test automation scope and priorities
* Create automation plan and delivery roadmaps
* Configure, maintain, and operate service test automation tools and frameworks
* Integrate test automation scripts with Continuous Integration and Delivery pipeline
* Closely work with Scrum Teams, QA Leads, QA Manager and share the Daily and Weekly Status Reports and Demonstrated excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical teammates and shows a high level of emotional and professional maturity.
* Ability to multitask when needed.
* Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality testing activities
* Be highly productive - have a reputation for getting things done quickly and efficiently
* Deconstruct a problem into an executable action plan for themselves and other Analysts - also perform them in a high quality way without issue
* Hybrid Schedule: 3 days remote / 2 days in office
* 30-day notification period preferred
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
* 8+ years of expierence
* Must have hands-on experience with Selenium automation using Java
* Working knowledge of any Relational Database and DB Queries.
* Working knowledge of tool and technologies like Jenkins, GIT, Maven, TestNG, JIRA and ALM
* Well versed with approaches like BDD, Keyword Driven, Data Driven and hybrid Driven test automation.
* Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
* Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge on API Testing (Postman & RestAssure), Knowledge on Accessibility Compliance Testing, Qualys - Web vulnerability Testing, performance and/or security testing.
