Title: Senior Network Engineer

Terms: 6+ month contract

Location: Hybrid - Atlanta area

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and maintaining our client’s network infrastructure across all premises globally. You will be part of a collaborative team supporting network, security, and on-premises computing systems in a fast-moving environment. This role blends deep technical knowledge with hands-on problem solving and documentation, ensuring our client’s systems are secure, scalable, and always available.

Role Details:

• Architect, deploy, and maintain robust and secure network infrastructure using Meraki firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for network, security, and on-prem systems including computers and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across a wide range of environments.
• Harden network and security deployments to align with best practices and compliance standards.
• Own the documentation process for network architecture, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
• Implement and manage configuration changes with proper testing, validation, and change control processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with security, infrastructure, and help desk teams to ensure seamless operations and support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a network engineering role, with direct hands-on experience in deploying and managing Meraki firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Global experience in a large enterprise environment required.
• Proven expertise with firewall configuration, network segmentation, and Layer 2/3 network troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), VLANs, VPNs, and wireless network management.
• Experience supporting on-premise infrastructure in distributed, multi-site environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a high-paced environment.
• Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal, especially when documenting systems or explaining complex technical issues.
