Overview

A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Manager/Senior Manager, Deposit Operations & Analytics to join its Deposits Team. This role will oversee segmentation and fulfillment operations, escalation management, and process optimization within the deposit function. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, deep banking operations experience, and an analytical mindset to drive efficiency and improve accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3-5 direct reports, managing strategies related to deposit segmentation, fulfillment, deposit escalations and operational analytics
• Lead analysts to analyze, improve and execute marketing segmentation, ensuring the right customers receive targeted materials.
• Oversee call center escalations, identifying trends and implementing strategies to reduce issues.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and ensure seamless coordination.
• Utilize SQL, Snowflake, Excel, and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and operational insights.
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline deposit-related processes and system improvements.
• Present findings, recommendations, and operational performance updates to senior leadership.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in banking operations, deposit management, or analytics.
• Proven leadership experience, managing and developing teams.
• Strong understanding of deposit forms, applications, and banking policies.
• Expertise in SQL and Snowflake, with experience handling large, complex queries.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentation purposes.
• Background in segmentation and fulfillment operations within a financial institution.
• Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Salesforce is preferred but not required.
  
  

Work Environment

• On-site requirement: 4 days per week in Tysons Corner, VA
• Standard schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Contract-to-hire opportunity, with conversion based on performance and business needs
