4. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Manage the maintenance and support of a portfolio of diverse and complex applications that are of critical strategic impact and organizational significance to AXA • Work with AXA GO and various AXA Entities to achieve strategic business objectives. • Define a strategy for Application Development and Maintenance of AXA GBS drawing parallels from the AXAllence Strategy. • Own the budgeting and budget approval and monitoring of project financials: • Ensure project / program related resourcing is effectively articulated and monitor project work to identify and address changes to project scopes and/or resource requirements in a timely manner. • Establishes priorities and documents staffing requirements for current and future years. • Facilitate project planning activities and integrate individual project strategies into an overall strategy to ensure and effective and seamless execution of projects: • Develop and maintain program / project plans, including defining goals, milestones, deliverables, and timelines. • Align / improve / refine the program / project management methodologies. • Possess apt knowledge of various methodologies like Waterfall and Agile: • Build and drive the Agile mindset and competence within AXA GBS • Breadth of knowledge across the following technologies: • Java, C#, Powershell, VB.NET, Python, SQL, HTML • Other Microsoft technologies (including PowerApps / Platform) • Cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP) • DevOps - CI/CD (Github, Jenkins) • Service Now • SAP & Peoplesoft • SalesforcProvide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership to a team of technical and business SME at AXA GBS. • Share industry insights, and best practices to optimize the performance and productivity of project teams across and ensure activities are aligned with GO and Entity’s business strategies and priorities. • Facilitate collaboration and communication between project teams, developers, test engineers and other stakeholders. • Providing necessary skilling requirements to the L&D team for the progression of resource
5. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Experience • 16.5+ years of experience in Application Development, Monitoring and Maintenance • 10 years’ experience in a tier-1 consulting firm as Delivery Partner is required • Proven track record of assessing or conducting maturity assessment of client landscape. • Strong understanding of the insurance industry, its products, and market dynamics. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong work ethics.
