Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior IT Operations Engineer (official title is Enterprise IT Engineer II) to join our Global Enterprise IT team based in Los Angeles.

The SHEIN Global Enterprise IT team is committed to enabling SHEIN’s rapid global expansion by developing future-ready IT platforms, applications, and services. Our mission is to lead the strategy, architecture, roadmap, and execution of Overseas IT, ensuring alignment with business priorities and global standards. We strive to deliver exceptional value to internal and external stakeholders, to become a world-class global IT organization. This position reports to the Director of North America Enterprise IT.

Job Responsibilities

  • IT Operations & Support
    • Provide Level 2/3 and on-site technical support, resolving advanced user and infrastructure issues.
    • Maintain thorough documentation of systems, procedures, and best practices for troubleshooting and support.
  • Infrastructure Design & Implementation
    • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable IT infrastructure to support business operations.
    • Deploy and manage diverse server environments, including physical, virtual, and cloud-based systems.
    • Evaluate, configure, and install essential hardware components such as routers, firewalls, and storage devices.
  • Network Management
    • Monitor, maintain, and optimize network performance across LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches.
    • Implement robust network security protocols, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
    • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Server & Cloud Management
    • Manage and maintain Windows, Linux servers, and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
    • Oversee patch management, system updates, and application upgrades.
    • Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and orchestration tools.
  • Backup, Recovery & Disaster Recovery
    • Develop and implement comprehensive backup strategies, with regular testing of recovery procedures.
    • Establish disaster recovery (DR) plans and business continuity strategies to minimize operational risk.
  • Monitoring & Performance Management
    • Deploy monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix) to track system and network performance.
    • Conduct capacity planning and regular performance analyses to optimize infrastructure.
    • Generate detailed reports on system availability, performance, and utilization.
Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MS preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in IT Operation Frameworks, including ITIL Frameworks, IT Service Lifecycle Management(Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Level Management, etc.), and IT Infrastructures, including Physical, Virtual, and Cloud-based Infrastructure.
  • Excellent knowledge and expertise in Agile/Scrum project management methodologies, resource management, and change management practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure, delivering solutions to diverse and evolving needs.

Pay Range: $102,000 USD - $166,800 USD
