Position Type: Full-time Contract (1 year with potential 2 YEAR extension)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, Morning Shift

Hourly Rate: $55-$100 per hour


Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Application Developer to join our team in support of a modernizing initiative within the public sector. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise in Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and Power Automate, while collaborating on the enhancement of housing program delivery and management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • System Configuration and Customization: Utilize advanced skills in coding, solution design, and industry best practices to configure and customize the Dynamics 365 HOME system to meet project goals.
  • Technical Specification Development: Convert functional and system requirements into comprehensive technical documentation and actionable solutions.
  • Application Architecture Design: Develop and implement a scalable and secure application framework, including designing database structures and ensuring proper entity relationships.
  • Release Management: Plan and oversee production releases, adhering to established procedures for solution management, build tracking, deployment, and data migration efforts.
  • Integration Development: Create and maintain interfaces that connect the housing systems with the Government’s ERP financial infrastructure, facilitating seamless data exchange.
  • Issue Resolution: Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical challenges, conducting root cause analyses and formulating remediation strategies.
  • Collaboration in Agile Teams: Work closely with fellow developers, analysts, and stakeholders within agile teams, providing consistent updates regarding project status, risks, and progress.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform technologies, especially Dynamics 365, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Strong background in application development, coding, and solution architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in Agile delivery methodologies is an asset.
  • Must reside in Canada and be able to work during regular business hours.
  • 10 Years Experience Designing and operationalizing production release and configuration methodologies (environment strategy, automated deployments, data migration.
  • 5 Years Experience in Large-scale ETL processes including data cleansing, mapping, and migration into Dynamics 365.
  • 5 Years Experience using GitHub for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment of Power Platform solutions.
  • 5 Years Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, Common Data Model, and enterprise governance best practices.
  • 5 Years Experience Developing RESTful services and integrating with Microsoft Graph API, Dataverse Web API, and related services.
  • 5 Years of experience and knowledge of security model design in Dynamics 365 (role-based access, business units, field-level security, record ownership).
  • 5 Years Experience delivering application development services for public sector clients, including government ministries, agencies, boards, or commissions.
  • 10 Years Experience demonstrating Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audience-write them for qualification for job postings in one word liners, not too wordy for Indeed, so people know the requirement.
