The Junior Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing of new solutions and the maintenance of existing products. They must be able to clearly and effectively communicate within the team, provide solutions to problems and share their knowledge and experience with the rest of the team. This position utilizes modern Microsoft development tools and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend meetings as required.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Be an active participant during solutioning discussions, timeline estimates, and feature scope meetings.
• Ability to work with our test team and to develop automated test programs
• Develop solutions using Microsoft technologies (C#, SQL, Azure, etc.) as defined by a requirement document.
• Debug software issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Write unit tests.
• Continuously develop programming skills.
• Provide and accept feedback.
• Remain organized with the ability to multitask.
• Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor.
  
  

What You Bring

• Minimum Diploma in computer science, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience required,
• Entry level knowledge of networking, operating system, and server architectures.
• Entry level knowledge of Web design/application principles and tools.

• Normal office environment that requires sitting for extended periods of time.
• Prolonged exposure to computer keyboards and computer screens.
• Manual dexterity required to use laptop and peripherals.
• Sometimes requires long hours of work.
