This is a fully remote role for a Senior Full Stack Web Developer with PHP (Symfony experience is a plus). You will be responsible for both front-end and (mostly) back-end web development tasks, feature implementation, and Full-Stack development.

Xara is currently in beta testing, with most core functionalities fully developed. The remaining tasks leading up to release primarily involve addressing bugs reported by our testers and clients, resulting in a relatively manageable workload. Therefore, we are seeking a contract-based collaboration for approximately 1-10 hours per week. Please take this into account before applying, as we want to ensure the collaboration is a good fit from the start for both sides.

Qualifications

Proficiency in PHP at a modern level (with provable experience -> 7 years +)

Fair experience with vanilla Front-end technologies and templating (such as HTML and Twig, vanilla JS and basic CSS -> 3 years +)

Excellent understanding of PHP frameworks (experience with Symfony is a plus)

Experience with public API's

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience with Crons, Jobs and Queues

Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields (but not required if you have provable experience)

Romanian speaking colleagues preferred (but not a must)

Experience with AI SAAS/(AAAS - agents as a service) products
