Senior Engineer – Database Platform - Top Tier Hedge Fund

We are proudly partnered with a Top Tier Global Hedge fund and are hiring for a Senior Engineer to build and scale a unified, cloud/hybrid database platform. You'll work with cutting-edge tools (Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Iceberg, ClickHouse, Trino, Terraform, etc.) in a fast-paced environment, driving automation, infrastructure as code, and high availability.

Key Highlights:

• Design and implement a robust cross-database platform
• Automate with Python and integrate with modern DevOps stacks (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
• Own HA/DR strategy, SRE practices, and on-call support (1 in 4 weeks)
• Drive innovation with modern data architecture and lakehouse methodologies

Ideal profile:

• 7+ years experience with enterprise databases (SQL Server/PostgreSQL)
• Strong Python scripting
• Hands-on with Terraform, Airflow, dbt, Trino, and S3
• Familiar with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, OpenTelemetry)
