Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to oversee complex electrical projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also maintaining strong client relationships and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are managed.
- Oversee contract management, including negotiation, execution, and compliance monitoring.
- Monitor and enforce quality assurance protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and codes related to electrical engineering and construction management.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including reports, proposals, and project deliverables.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the electrical engineering sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale electrical projects.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation processes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated ability in risk assessment and mitigation planning.
- Exceptional communication and client relation skills.
- Familiarity with construction management and quality assurance practices.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the electrical industry.
