What You'll Do
This is an ideal position for a highly motivated and technically strong individual who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. As a
DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing DevOps best practices, automating deployments, supporting cloud migration activities, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of infrastructure—especially within Azure Kubernetes environments.
DevOps Practices & Automation
- Implement and manage DevOps practices to enhance the efficiency of development, deployment, and operations.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for fast and reliable software delivery.
- Automate operational processes with accuracy and in compliance with best practices.
Cloud & Containerization
- Monitor, manage, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters for performance, availability, and scalability.
- Support migration from PCF to AKS, ensuring minimal disruption and smooth transitions.
- Collaborate with cloud architects and developers to ensure seamless integration of services and applications.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless delivery workflows.
- Provide technical guidance and support to teams during migration, implementation, and operation activities.
- Engage in issue tracking, debugging, and post-deployment support as needed.
Monitoring & System Optimization
- Set up system monitoring, alerting, and reporting frameworks to identify and address issues proactively.
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and provide solutions to improve system reliability and uptime.
What You Know
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure, with familiarity in GCP and AWS.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (preferably Jenkins) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
- Experience working with Docker containers and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and experience in migrating applications from PCF to AKS.
- Solid understanding of system monitoring and alerting practices.
- Familiarity with SQL, Cosmos DB, and Kafka is preferred.
- Experience scripting in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to overlap with PST time zone as per client requirements.
- Willingness to work from office premises as needed.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
