Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join our team full-time in Pakistan.

About the role:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS), become a part of a cross-functional development team working for A healthcare technology company that provides platforms and solutions to improve the management and access of cost-effective pharmacy benefits. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure AWS architectures at scale. Contribute to the overall cloud strategy and roadmap
• Build complex CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration management for large-scale applications
• Proactively analyze infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies for cost and efficiency
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex system-wide issues, root cause analysis, andimplementation of preventative measures
• Design and enforce secure infrastructure patterns, conduct security audits, and drive security initiatives
• Mentor team members, foster a culture of continuous learning, and share best practices within the organization
• Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools and AWS services, evaluating their potential impact and driving adoption

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role with significant AWS experience
• Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale AWS solutions
• Experience leading and mentoring DevOps teams
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and architect robust solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Relevant AWS certifications are highly preferred (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Security Specialty)
• Kubernetes, GitHub, Helm, NewRelic

Desirable:

• Cloud: Deep knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and design patterns
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced skills in CloudFormation, Terraform, or otherIaC tools
• Programming and Scripting: Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and proficiency with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Node.js)
• Containerization and Microservices: Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and microservices architectures
• Complex Configuration Management: Expertise in configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
• Robust Networking: In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, VPC design, hybrid cloud architectures, and network security
• Security Focus: Strong understanding of cloud security principles, penetration testing, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
• US Healthcare experience is preferred
