HaaNaa is an innovative skill-based opinion trading platform that enables users to trade on what they believe—through simple YES/NO predictions—across trending topics in politics, crypto, sports, finance, entertainment, and more. We gamify curiosity, reward informed insights, and aim to make decision-making a social and rewarding experience.

As we scale our platform and user base, we are looking for a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and security practices.

What You’ll Do

🔧 Infrastructure & Automation

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (preferably on AWS/GCP).
• Build and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Optimize Kubernetes/Docker-based container orchestration for performance and cost.
  
  

⚙️ CI/CD & Deployment

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) for efficient, reliable, and fast deployments.
• Automate testing, building, and deployment workflows for backend, frontend, and microservices.
  
  

🔍 Monitoring & Reliability

• Set up and manage observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK Stack, Datadog, etc.).
• Implement proactive alerting, incident response processes, and SLO/SLAs.
• Own site reliability and uptime, especially during real-time trading events and traffic spikes.
  
  

🔐 Security & Compliance

• Implement security best practices: access control, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and incident response.
• Collaborate with backend and infra teams to enforce secure coding and infrastructure standards.
  
  

🤝 Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with Engineering, Product, and QA to streamline release cycles.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and contribute to building a high-performance engineering culture.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to improve platform scalability and developer experience.
  
  

Who You Are

✅ Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience in fast-paced tech environments.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized applications.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go).
• Proven track record of implementing robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and Linux system administration.
• Proven experience in mitigating and managing DDoS attacks.
• Experience working with Ansible and developing Python scripts for automation.
• Expertise in using Cloudflare, Akamai, or similar security and CDN technologies.
  
  

🌟 Nice-to-Have

• Experience with high-volume, real-time or trading platforms.
• Exposure to GraphQL APIs, WebSockets, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Loki, ELK stack, etc.
• Certification(s) in AWS/GCP DevOps or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD)
