Objective Of This Role:We are seeking a proficient DevOps Engineer to enhance our Infrastructure & DevOps team's capability in managing and optimizing our development environment based on Azure DevOps.This role is vital for maintaining the high standards of operational excellence and innovation that G+D Currency Technology is known for. Tasks & Responsibilities: * Plan, Build, Run, Optimize our whole development, build, test and deployment infrastructure with Azure DevOps in the center, surrounded by further systems like Nexus, Teamscale, SonarQube, Mend.io and others. * Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines across Windows and Linux systems. * Administer version control systems such as Git. * Oversee and optimize our ESXi VMware-based virtualization environment for automated builds, testing, and deployments. * Develop and maintain scripts for automating routine tasks to enhance operational efficiency (infrastructure as code). * Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues and ensuring robust security practices followed. * Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in India and Germany, fostering a multicultural and inclusive work environment. * Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in DevSecOps to drive continuous improvement Education & Trainings: * B.E/BTech or equivalent * M.E./M.Tech is a plus Technical knowhow: Mandatory * Proven track record with Azure DevOps and in-depth understanding of CI/CD principles. * Advanced scripting skills e.g. in PowerShell, Terraform, Python to build infrastructure as code. * Expertise in handling Git and Git LFS for version control. * Experience in automating VMs and Docker containers. * Experience with security practices in the context of DevSecOps. * Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and ability to adopt to changing priorities in a Kanban flow within the team. * Excellent communication, collaboration and self-organization skills, with a proven ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and geographies in a fast paced environment. * Flexibility in time management to support Go-Live periods seamless. * Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
