Manage and maintain Proxmox hypervisor environments
Oversee the management of Linux servers, including provisioning, scaling, and performance tuning
Implement and manage containerized environments using Docker
Orchestrate container deployments and manage clusters using Kubernetes
Implement and manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability
Develop and execute disaster recovery strategies
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments using scripting languages such as Python and Bash
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle
Configure and manage reverse proxies to ensure optimal load balancing, caching, and secure communication between clients and servers
Oversee network operations related to infrastructure and service delivery
Collaborate with the Security Engineer to ensure network operations are secure and compliant
Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the development process
Collaborate with the Security Engineer to embed security within the CI/CD pipelines and overall infrastructure
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in the infrastructure
Optimize system performance to ensure high availability and scalability

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or a related field required
Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with a strong background in infrastructure management and automation
Proficiency with Proxmox hypervisor and Linux servers
Extensive experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible
Experience with configuring and managing reverse proxies (e.g., Caddy, Nginx, HAProxy)
Understanding of network management in a DevOps context
Experience working closely with security teams to implement security practices within DevOps workflows
Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or equivalent
