🔧 Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of critical database functions including Incident & Problem Management, Backup & Restore, Disaster Recovery, and High Availability.
  • Perform database installations, upgrades, planning, setup, and implementation.
  • Provide deep technical expertise to optimize and tune database systems.
  • Develop and execute automation tools/scripts for efficient operations.
  • Design and manage strategies for security, backup and recovery, system copies, replication, export-import, and performance tuning.
  • Maintain and structure day-to-day technical documentation.


🔍 Required Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience as a Database Administrator in global operations teams.
  • Strong background in SAP HANA and ASE database platforms (experience with other DB tech also considered).
  • Solid knowledge of performance tuning, system optimization, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Hands-on experience in scripting and automation processes.
  • Deep understanding of security, backup, and replication strategies.
  • English and Hungarian language knowledge

  • Experience with public cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Certifications like PMP, ITIL, or other professional database certifications.
  • Exposure to project management tasks and cross-functional collaboration.
