Amalfi Jets is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to lead the backend development of our high-end Amalfi Reserve Platform. You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining robust APIs, managing secure infrastructure, and ensuring seamless integration with third-party services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs for mobile and web clients
• Maintain and optimize the admin panel and backend logic using Laravel
• Collaborate with mobile and frontend developers for seamless integration
• Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, CRMs, and analytics
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Manage staging and production deployments on AWS
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and error reporting tools

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel preferred)
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of REST API principles and integration patterns
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar)
• Familiarity with payment systems (e.g., Stripe, Square)
• Comfortable working with SSH/SFTP, CI/CD tools, and version control (Git)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bonus: Experience with Firebase tools, HubSpot API, or aviation-related tech

Compensation & Benefits:

• $150,000 - $290,000 USD per year
