Responsibilities

PRIMARY PURPOSE

Leads the design and delivery of asset performance analysis to provide holistic insights and a predictive approach to asset performance and maintenance, in support of asset management decisions throughout the asset life cycle.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

The competencies for this position would be acquired through a university degree in Engineering, Business or a relevant field, plus five (5) years’ experience on a supervisory position in engineering asset and technical analysis, preferably in the rail industry.

Other Requirements

Advanced knowledge in analytical skills, including the use of statistical techniques, associated computer systems and effective presentation of results.

Advanced understanding of railway asset behavior, including performance issues, degradation, reliability and failure models.

Solid knowledge of relevant standards, legislation, acts and regulatory requirements, knowledge specific to the rail industry would be desirable but not essential.

Solid communication interpersonal skills to provide advice to maintenance and engineering, managers and directors, and resolve complex issues with key stakeholders inside and outside of the organization.

Solid planning, organizational and time management skills.

Solid problem solving and decision-making skills.

Solid understanding of asset management principles.

Good attention to detail and a systematic approach to work.

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

Rate of Pay

Salary $82,400 - $123,600 per annum (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
