Do you possess a combination of strong technical expertise, and a track record of successful project management? We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to join our digital team as a Senior Architect at SHL. If you are willing to play a strategic role in designing cloud native application architecture aligned with enterprise architecture, and provide technical guidance to the team, the Senior Architect role is for you.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, architect & develop highly scalable, resilient, testable services/code.
• Gather requirements, design, and develop high quality deliverables.
• Follow architecture principles to deliver high quality user interface code.
• Review and recommend technology choices and system architectures.
• Collaborate with engineering and product team to create the required design.
• Mentor & coach the software engineers on best practices.
  
  

Essential

What we are looking for from you:

• Strong knowledge of cloud platform (AWS) and its architecture patterns.
• Expertise in with REST Services, SoapUI and/or POSTMAN
• Experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent communicator, collaborator, and solution-seeker.
  
  

Desirable

• Experience with MicroServices (Golang/ node/ spring boot).
• Knowledge of application life cycle initiatives - resource allocation & risk mitigation.
• Familiarity with front-end and back-end development frameworks
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JQuery, Bootstrap (3.3.7 and above)
