Job Title: Splunk Expert Contractor (HANDS ON ENGINEER)

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Splunk Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This role demands a hands-on professional who can actively build, configure, and manage Splunk environments while ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement Splunk solutions and drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage Splunk environments, including indexers, forwarders, and search heads.
• Develop Splunk queries, dashboards, and alerts to meet specific business needs.
• Onboard diverse data sources into Splunk, ensuring accurate parsing and proper indexing.
• Implement and optimize Splunk log ingestion pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to Splunk deployment and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure Splunk integrates seamlessly with monitoring, analytics, and security tools.
• Implement and enforce best practices for data security and system performance within Splunk.
