Security Architect to design, implement, and enhance security for our banking applications--Must

Strong understanding of secure coding practices for Java, .NET, Python, or other banking application technologies. ---Must

Experience with SAST, DAST, IAST security testing tools. ---Must

Encryption, PKI, TLS, API security, and DevSecOps. --Must

Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security. --Must

Familiarity with SIEM tools, SOC operations, and incident response processes. ---Good to have

Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISM, CEH, CSSLP, OSCP, or equivalent. ---Good to have

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Security Architect to design, implement, and enhance security for our banking applications. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 7 years of experience in application security, secure software development, and regulatory compliance in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

Application Security Reviews: Conduct code reviews, penetration testing, and security assessments to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.

Identity & Access Management (IAM): Implement secure authentication, authorization, and access control policies for banking applications.

Cloud & On-Prem Security: Ensure the secure deployment of banking applications across on-premises and cloud environments.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all applications meet Egyptian banking regulations and global security frameworks.

Incident Response & Forensics: Assist in security incident investigations, log analysis, and remediation planning.

Security Awareness & Training: Conduct secure coding and security awareness training for development and IT teams.

Key Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.

Experience: 6 to 7 years of experience in application security, with at least 2 years in banking or fintech security.

Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISM, CEH, CSSLP, OSCP, or equivalent.

Technical Expertise

Strong understanding of secure coding practices for Java, .NET, Python, or other banking application technologies.

Hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, IAST security testing tools.

Knowledge of encryption, PKI, TLS, API security, and DevSecOps.

Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security.

Familiarity with SIEM tools, SOC operations, and incident response processes.
