Job Summary

Under the direction of the IT Portfolio and Security Manager, the SAP Security Administrator is responsible for implementing and maintaining SAP security policies and ensuring segregation of duties across multiple SAP instances. The role includes assisting the SAP security team with project tasks such as role and catalog design, authorization object adjustments, data protection, and proactive testing. The SAP Security Administrator will report to the SAP Security Lead and collaborate closely with the security and audit teams to ensure robust security practices are upheld.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for user tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Build and maintain catalogs and roles for end users, including modifying or removing authorization objects as needed.
  • Perform regression testing of existing roles and proactive testing of newly built roles.
  • Assist with project planning for SAP GRC, system kernel upgrades, and global role rollouts.
  • Support user maintenance activities across multiple S/4 HANA instances.
  • Configure and maintain SAP security tools to align with business needs.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years in SAP security.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing custom security solutions.
  • Experience with SAP GRC console, NetWeaver, and Fiori front-end configuration.
  • Proficiency in Segregation of Duty analysis.
  • Strong background in process modeling, change management (STMS), collaboration with functional and development teams, and generating security reports.
  • Experience in SAP S/4 HANA global implementation.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage flexible work hours to collaborate with global teams.

Working Environment

  • Office-based work environment.
  • Required to follow Allied Mineral Products’ Safety & Health policies and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
  • Less than 5% travel expected.

Physical Requirements

  • Must consent to pre-employment drug screening tests and/or physical examinations as a condition of employment.
  • May be required to undergo additional drug screening tests and/or physical examinations as necessary to determine fitness for duty.
