Job Title: SAP HANA Database Administrator (HANA DBA)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled SAP HANA Database Administrator with 3+ years of experience in managing SAP HANA environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, and maintenance of HANA databases to ensure high availability and performance for SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform SAP HANA database administration including installation, upgrades, support packages, and patch management.
• Monitor HANA system performance, perform tuning, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery setup.
• Perform daily health checks, backup & restore operations, and housekeeping tasks.
• Manage users, roles, authorizations, and system security settings in HANA.
• Troubleshoot HANA DB issues and provide root cause analysis.
• Coordinate with BASIS and application teams for system refreshes, migrations, and other DBA-related activities.
• Implement and monitor data replication using SLT, SDA, or SDI as required.
• Support HANA DB sizing, capacity planning, and storage management.
• Maintain documentation of the DB landscape, operations, and procedures.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP HANA Database Administration.
• Proficient in HANA 2.0, HANA Cockpit, HANA Studio, and HANA tools.
• Experience with backup/recovery, performance tuning, and HANA system replication.
• Familiarity with Linux OS, especially SUSE Linux used with HANA systems.
• Understanding of SAP NetWeaver architecture and BASIS integration.
• Experience in SLT, SDA, and SDI configurations is preferred.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an added advantage.
